~Care
for your Jewellery~
We
consider our range of
jewellery to be fine costume
jewellery crafted using silver
to silver and gold plate,
rhodium plate, swarovski
crystals, cubic zirconias,
freshwater and swarovski
pearls and many more
components. In order to look
after your jewellery and
maintain in good condition for
many enjoyable years, we
suggest you follow some of the
following simple guidelines:
1.
Never use harsh chemicals on
your jewellery especially
harsh cleansers, hairsprays,
perfumes, detergents and
abrasives.
2.
Your jewellery should be the
last thing you put on before
you go out and first thing to
take off.
3.
Do not drop your jewellery as
this mat loosen stone settings
or damage the
stones/construction.
4.
if you need to clean as
jewellery can lose its shine,
simply rinse under clean water
and dry with a soft cloth.
Alternatively, silver and
silver plated items may be
quickly dipped in a reputable
silver cleaning solution
however, do not immerse for
longer than a couple of
seconds. We do not recommend
overuse of these cleaners as
they may strip the plating of
thin plated jewellery. Please
follow the manufacturers
instructions and use
sparingly.
4.
Store your jewellery in a cool
dry place away from dust and
chemicals. Also give your
jewellery space by not
overcrowding them when stored
as this may cause scratching.
Always fasten your clasps ie.
on bracelets and necklaces to
reduce risk of tangled
jewellery.
5.
Ensure your jewellery is
always dried as wet jewellery
will tarnish silver jewellery
and cause stones to lose their
shine.
6.
Ensure your jewellery is nor
stored in direct sunlight or
places of extreme heat. This
may loosen stones and damage
them.
