The Peter Lang Biography

Peter Lang has been designing and manufacturing fashion accessories and jewellery since the early eighties. From his first range, Peter has been sought after by Australia's leading stylists for editorials, fashion parades, and celebrity one-off creations.

Peter has styled for movies such as The Matrix, Mission Impossible 2 and Moulin Rouge. Celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland, Holly Valance, Jerry Hall, Liv Tyler and Alec Wek have all sought Peters designs for various occasions. His highlight piece to date was a bejeweled head piece worn by Kylie Minoque for the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony.

Throughout these years, Peter has remain and grown into one of the most respected, inspirational, and largest accessory designer and manufacturer in Australia.

Peter Lang started designing ornate  over the top belts in his Surry Hills studio in Sydney, Australia. His first range was sought after by every stylist, magazine, Department store and boutique in Sydney. Peter and his team could not make enough belts for the demand. After seeing the success of his last range, he moved into jewellery where his creativity and attention to detail and fashion flourished.

Peter creates three extensive, directional and unique ranges each year. He uses colours, shapes and components that influence the season's fashion direction. Peter is exceptional with colours and his exquisite taste, and is trusted by peers and customers alike. He not only works for his label, but develops accessories and components for fashion clothing, shoes and handbag companies. Every Peter Lang product is hand made in Sydney Australia. The Peter Lang factory hand cast each metal component using high grade jeweller's alloy. Each piece is assembled, glued, soldered, enameled and beaded by hand in Australia.
